Are they free?
Some are. Some aren’t (like Turnitin). Lots of variety.
That is some really useful tools for both teachers and for students who want to check if their plagiarism is obvious enough.
Kids have almost lost sight of the idea they can’t plagiarize. Part of it is parents (and many teachers) don’t understand the rules so they don’t teach kids. I’ve watched teachers copy full pages from books and pass them out to classes. I tell them they can’t and they look at me like I’m nuts. That plagiarizing. One famous case, the textbook publisher told the school district to stop, for several years. They ignored them because they insisted it was their right (they bought the book) Finally got sued and lost.
