Weekend Website #116: Google Street View Locations

Every Friday, I share a website (or app) that I’ve heard about, checked into, been excited to use. This one covers anything on your mind and uses the quintessentially-popular Google Earth. I know you’re going to enjoy this review.

Google Street View Locations

Review:

These are personal ‘virtual tours’ of amazing locations around the world, using the Google Street View approach of putting the viewer right there in the middle of the action. I discovered this feature when I was teaching my 1st graders about the White House. We went into Street View and voila! We went into the White House. This was a stunning tour of our nation’s first house and got me wondering where else there were building we could explore. This website has an extensive list of just those locations.

Do you have any favorite ‘see inside’ locations around the world we can go visit? Leave a comment. I’m looking for more entries for my Virtual Tour list.
